Engineering Imagination: Forth+Back’s Aurum Logik Identity

In an era where creative production is fragmented across tools, teams, and platforms, Aurum Logik proposes something different: a unified environment where sound, image, and narrative meet. Built for modern creators working across film, photography, audio, and video, the platform is as much about workflow as it is about vision — a space designed to support both operational systems and creativity.

Invited to build the brand from the ground up, Forth+Back created a full identity system and digital experience that mirrors the platform’s forward-thinking nature. Anchored in a love of retro-futurism and industrial sci-fi, the system balances engineered detail with speculative aesthetics, resulting in a visual language that feels simultaneously technical and otherworldly. A connective tissue of custom icons, layered illustrations, and streamlined typography — including a custom wordmark built with Source Type’s font Rapid and the cross-platform use of their font Chroma — ties the system together. At the centre stands a powerful emblem: a futuristic helmet, uniting the identity with bold, iconic presence.

“A device that, once worn, would transport the user into a world of limitless possibility,” says Tanner Woodbury, Creative Director at Forth+Back. Embedded with gradients, logo detailing, and intricate linework, the helmet became the centrepiece of the campaign — a portal into Aurum Logik’s creative universe and a living extension of the platform itself.

Through this, the brand identity moves beyond just aesthetics and into narrative. It speaks to the dual role Aurum Logik plays: both infrastructure and imagination, technical system and creative ambition. By shaping a visual world that resonates with the platform’s ethos—and by collaborating with visionary artists, brands, and companies — in partnership with Forth+Back, Aurum Logik positions itself as an arena where creativity and technology converge, redefining what production can mean in the 21st century.
