TYPE01 is a global media platform exploring contemporary design through the lens of typography.
We exist to champion the craft of type and its role in shaping visual culture—spotlighting emerging and established creatives, and using typography as a gateway into wider conversations across design, technology, and culture.
Through editorial features, our annual graphic design magazine TYPEONE, and a growing global community, TYPE01 has become a platform for discovering new voices and defining the direction of contemporary typography.
As TYPE01 continues to grow, our focus is on expanding the reach of typography—connecting culture with industry, and shaping a more visible and commercially relevant future for type and design.
We also operate two independent type foundries: ALT.tf (formerly Femme Type), T1 Foundry, and then Type Department—our curated marketplace showcasing fonts from leading independent type designers and foundries.
Established officially in early 2025, TYPE01 Studio is the commercial arm of TYPE01—translating contemporary typography into strategic, real-world applications for brands.
Built on the foundation of our global media platform, we bring a deep understanding of the evolving typographic landscape—combining creative thinking with commercial awareness to help brands develop distinctive and relevant visual identities.
At its core, TYPE01 Studio exists to bridge the gap between contemporary type culture and the needs of modern brands.
