For TYPEONE issue #11, we turn our gaze to wayfinding, guest edited by DNCO, the London-based branding and wayfinding consultancy led by Patrick Eley and united by a deep understanding of how places feel and why people care about them. Drawing on DNCO’s experience shaping identities and wayfinding systems for destinations around the world, this issue explores wayfinding as more than a practical problem, examining how typographic signs, systems, materials and maps can transform space into place.
