Inspired by the Astrantia flower, Astrance Regular is a stunning new typeface with features including a total glyph set of 191, 56 uppercase, 54 lowercase, 24 numbers, 6 diacritics, 22 punctuation marks and 6 ligatures.

The serif typeface is the brainchild of Paris-based graphic and type designer, Mathilde Quentin. Based on classical forms, the typeface’s delicately rendered serifs play with the harsh-yet-gentle contrast of the Astrantia’s curves and thorns, giving it a timeless, elegant and refined presence.

Both soft and strong, this classically timeless typeface would look beautiful in branding and editorial settings, calling attention without overpowering other visual elements.
