Newley released on Type Department, Kotei Condensed is the new sans typeface and display font from KOBU Type Foundry. Created by Portuguese Graphic Designer, Brígida Guerreiro, KOBU are a foundry mainly focussing on developing custom fonts with a rigorous, detail-oriented approach.
Kotei Condensed is brimming with personality and charisma. Its prominent, direct presence means it would be well suited to for short-length titles in magazines, books or newspapers, whilst its transformation in character across its weights (thin, light, regular, medium, bold and black) means it is equipped to convey many different visual tones and narratives.
Supporting Western and Central European languages, the typeface includes basic Latin characters (all uppercase), numerals, alternates, diacritics, punctuation and symbols; totalling up at 509 glyphs.
