Head over to FEMME TYPE, the arm of our business that celebrates the type work of industry womxn, and check out their new creative collaboration with Adobe Live! Our FEMME TYPE team have curated a selection of four artists from their network and briefed them to create, a typographic poster in response to the unfortunate but necessary cancellation of the UK’s Summer Festival season. These live-show pieces will be hosted on Adobe Live each Wednesday in July starting this coming Wednesday, the 1st of July for four weeks. This project is a wonderful way to promote and showcase the talented skillset that the chosen artists possess, giving you guys an exclusive insight into the way they work and how to navigate through Adobe’s Creative Cloud Apps.

The first artist on our panel is Glasgow-based Multidisciplinary Designer Raissa Pardini. Raissa’s work is heavily involved in activism and usually takes the form of bold, expressive typography compositions. Taking a contemporary approach to type, you’ll be walked through how Raissa creates her poster of choice in Indesign, showing her process and quick tips. Tune in on the 1st of July!

Next up, hosting her live stream on Wednesday the 8th of July is London-based designer Emily Theodore. Emily is renowned for her expressive vector type and custom lettering skills, skills that she’ll be showcasing in Adobe Illustrator so make sure you’re tuning in for that!

Our third artist to introduce is Jasmin Sehra. Jasmin is a talented designer who has built up an impressive client list of Adidas, Converse, Levis, Nike and many other established brands. Her work takes the form of playful and expressive lettering designs which she hand draws herself, something you’ll get a sneak peek into when she produces her design in Adobe Fresco on Wednesday the 15th of July.

Last but not least, the final artist to showcase their talents is Senior Motion Designer Georgie Yana. Born and bred in London, Georgie has a fantastic portfolio filled with engaging motion graphics with type holding a solid majority at the core. In her live stream, learn first-hand how to create the hypnotising type effects she uses within her work created in Adobe After Effects. This one is certainly not to be missed!
