We’re super stoked to introduce the first colour typeface available through Type Department, Achtung. An an extension of Mikolaj’s Grabowski first typeface, formerly known as Epilepsja, this new release includes the addition of lowercase and small caps, additional language support including Cyrillic and some dingbats.
‘Achtung has a wide range of applications, from warnings and safety signage to propaganda posters and anarchist graffiti’, the designer says. Basically anywhere where you’re looking to convey a bold, indisputable message, this colour typeface has you covered.
The typeface is a stencil; layered and seriously dimensional, it’s both crystal clear and super attention grabbing. It would also look amazing on posters and in branding for titles and headlines.
